artist statement: 

I have found that the beauty with art is that quite often artists are able to give their viewers a way in which to see things in a new light. These may be things that are already familiar and often ignored. This concept fascinates me and has inspired me to try to create several works which take everyday objects and scenes out of their usual context and give the viewer a new way of looking at them.
