I confess that I was at a loss as what to post, now that my photo challenge has ended, until I started rooting through my old projects looking for something. I stumbled upon these three panel pieces I'd done awhile ago just for practice and experimentation. They are interpretations of three of four elements: air, fire and water.
As a Christian I don't put any stock in the importance or significance of the different elements, I just used them as a springboard to experiment with the abstract using different colors and values to represent each one. Obviously I never finished the whole series as I am missing earth, but maybe now that I've found these I'll try some more experiments and post the finished series again later.
