Sorry I've been sort of MIA on social media for a while, but things have been absolutely crazy around here! (I know I may say that a lot but the past few weeks really have been rather overwhelming!) I've been kept busy with the end of the longest school year EVER and I had to make sure everything was in order for the start of summer reading. But now it's here and I can finally take a breather. AAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!
This year's summer reading theme is: Tails and Tales - all about animals! I started off with an aquarium for the front bulletin board followed by various animal heads representing the participating schools. There's a teddy bear's picnic going on in the display window and you can measure yourself against the heights of various animals on one of the large support poles. Jimmy's boa is hungry for a good book and there are a lot of good recommendations for animal themed books hanging from the wash, just waiting to be gobbled up! And of course, in the back the pigeon is waiting to get his chance to drive the bus, carrying a bunch of your favorite animal characters! Can you name them all?
